So, how about $100 a square foot for a Brooklyn brownstone? Uh huh. It may or may not have anything to do with, you know, that whole financial market crash thing, but a three-story, 2,400-square-foot building in Bed-Stuy sold in September $272,000. That is not a typo. The seller had paid $260K for it three months earlier. It is probably safe to assume that it's a little bit of a fixer upper. For instance, there's no indication whether it has floors, a roof, plumbing, etc. [Brownstoner]
