Curbed Poll: Palazzo Chupi Penthouse vs. the $24 Million Club

The triplex penthouse at 360 West 11th Street, better known as Palazzo Chupi, has been cut down to an asking price of $24 million, from an initial offering of $32 million. After over eight months of showings and broker switches (including a stint where Julian Schnabel was going the for-sale-by-owner route), has the penthouse at the West Village's grandest pink tower finally found a price tag that fits? To check on the Chupster's chances, we combed StreetEasy for the city's other $24 million listings. Three others turned up?an apartment in the storied Dakota co-op on Central Park West, an entire 35-unit Chelsea apartment building ripe for condo conversion, and the penthouse at Asymptote's under-construction 166 Perry Street.
