Rooftop Dog Schools West Chelsea

Publisher of all books wonderful, Taschen, recently released New New York Interiors, a compendium of, well, just that. Witness the garden of contemporary art mega-dealer Marianne Boesky, who shares a 3,600 square-foot loft with her husband and daughter. Chockablock with art works -- most of which, as one might expect, hail from her own stable -- the space is situated above her West gallery. About that rather over-sized fiberglass dog on on the roof: It's a sculpture by Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara, plopped here as part of a garden-as-artwork by artist Paula Hayes. What's with all these Crazy Art Things, anyway? Step inside and get schooled, plebes.
