On the Racked: Steven Alan Line Blogging, Eve's Guts Getting Ripped Out, Staying Above the Fray

And now the latest from Racked, covering shopping and retail from the sidewalks up.

1) Tribeca: Hey, there's nothing like standing in a line at 8:30 in morning to score at the Steven Alan sample sale. And we do mean that there were acres of merchandise, per the photo gallery.

2) West Village: Salon Eve is getting its guts ripped out on Bleecker. For real.

3) Chelsea: To get Above the Fray, as Racked says, check out the magical little sample sale spot next to the Metropolitan Pavilion on West 18th Street in Chelsea. It hosts almost bi-weekly events. The last two days have been a dumping ground for bargain deals on Gwen Stefani's LAMB and Harajuku Lovers purses, as well as Kid Robot bags and Jill Stuart.

4) Chelsea: Also in Above the Fray land, Racked reports that "If you're not hell-bent on scoring a Gucci watch for 90% off, then you may just waltz right into the Metropolitan Pavilion for the juicy Delman sale happening on the fourth floor. With prices ranging from $20 for Nina to a high $239 for rare masterpieces, Delman can be a deal if you're choosy."
