We're used to seeing churches converted into condos, but here's a new spin on the formula: "Fieldston Billiards, once considered among the city's largest pool halls, closed a year ago. But in February, Mr. Paz negotiated a $3 million rent-to-own deal for his former haunt in the Kingsbridge section. And now every Sunday, instead of the click of ivory balls and the squeak of chalk, the building is filled with the sounds of more than 400 congregants praying and singing inside Mr. Paz's church, the Words of Life Christian Center."
