It looks like the eminent domain case about Atlantic Yards, which is now in state court, could be speeded up. Originally it was looking like briefs would be due in February with a decision coming in May or June. Now the briefs are due in November and December, which means there could be a decision by March. Ah, but wait. "The losing side--most likely the petitioners, because the case is a long shot--would inevitably file an appeal, which could require several more months.
