Oh, we've been watching Hot Karl Fischer's 405 Union Avenue take shape since it was just a huge, gaping hole in the Williamsburg firmament. Then, we watched the steel go up. Then, the outer walls were applied. But now our big, triangular Hot Karl is getting that genuine Karliosity. Gray brick is being applied to the exterior, so that it will look like 50 per cent of the other buildings Our Karl has developed in Brooklyn. (There are exceptions, of course, but gray is definitely the Hot One's fave color. We call it "The Look.") In any case, here it is, as the 47 units close in on being part of building in the booming Union Triangle. Which will be condos? Which will be nondos? Give it about six-eight months.
