A Touch of Pre-Gowanus Moment & Enlightenment Nostalgia

No, it's not snowing in Brooklyn. This is Bond and Carroll Street in Gowanus on a snowy day circa 2003 (oh, so long ago). The house on the corner is still standing. One of the buildings to its right was a big carriage house and its demolition caused a lot of bitterness among local preservationists and residents.

It's our old friend Satori, designed by the King of Brookyn Architects, Robert Scarano.
