Here's a scary MTA service advisory: "Due to a building collapse in the vicinity of East 36th Street and Lexington Avenue, please expect delays in service on the 4, 5, and 6 trains at this time." 1010 WINS has a more details, calling it a "partial wall collapse" and adding: "Authorities say the 10 foot wall collapsed at a building under construction at 36th Street and Lexington Avenue around 3 p.m." No injuries are reported. UPDATE: The MTA advisory now notes, "service has resumed with residual delays."

Let's keep this one going, shall we? The Gothamist news map reports the address as 133 East 36th Street, a landmark townhouse that has a building permit on file for combining three apartments on the third, fourth and fifth floors. A complaint logged by the DOB reported "debris falling" just after 3 p.m. A Curbed commenter pointed us to the photo (via Flickr) of the site seen above.
