When the epic Houston Street improvement project was completed and Sony's senile giant PSP was trucked off all in the span of about a week, we wondered if East Houston Street was changing forever right before our eyes. Not quite. The big PSP, the absence of which caused Josh Stein to wonder if we are barreling toward apocalypse, was apparently just in the shop for repairs. A special Curbed tipster caught workers hoisting it back into place yesterday afternoon. Let's hope 290 Mulberry's northern view is a little less glitchy in the future.
