Cemusa, the Spanish company in charge of turning the city's bus stops and newsstands into sterile glassy snoozers, has already taken heat from denizens of the Bowery for referring to the street (little s) as a Street (big s). While this new bus stop spotted by Bowery Boogie doesn't dare make the same mistake, it does sport a new one: spelling Delancey Street incorrectly. Cemusa, or the company subcontracted to create the bus stops, had previously misspelled Frederick Douglass Boulevard, so maybe the mistakes are strictly limited to gentrifying neighborhoods.
