Given the lack of cash and credit flowing around it really should come as no surprise that some enterprising marketing folks are taking a different route these days. Case in point is this recent listing for the new Sheraton Tribeca rising at 370 Canal Street. Originally a fabled McSam project before it was sold early in 2008, this design from the unstoppable Gene Kaufman has now evolved into a big box of 360 guest rooms where, if everything goes as planned, the first check-in is now scheduled for November 4, 2009.
