Curbed Cup: Morning After Recap

New, 11 comments

A blockbuster of a doubleheader to kick off the second round of Curbed Cup competition?which four out of five doctors agree is our annual Neighborhood of the Year contest?saw a pair of dramatic last-second comebacks, as the Red Hook Waterfront prevailed over Downtown Brooklyn, and top seed the High Line District was upset by the Far West Village. Were there voting...irregularities? Perhaps, but we admire the moxie of anyone willing to skirt ethical behavior for something so meaningless. We'll grant the shenanigans a one-time pass, but our Official Curbed Poll Watchers™ are on alert from here on out. More second round action is coming up.
