Location scouts get into some of the coolest hidden spaces in all of New York, and now someone lucky enough to have the job is sharing what he finds. On Scouting New York, an anonymous film location scout writes, "My day is basically spent combing the streets for interesting and unique locations for feature films. In my travels, I often stumble across some pretty incredible sights, most of which are ignored every day by thousands of New Yorkers in too much of a rush to pay attention." Above, the second-floor lounge in an old government building on the shores of Williamsburg (DUWBO?). Some amazing views, rent-to-own not required.
