New York Magazine has named its picks for the Top Ten Designs in New York for 2008. Top of the list: Snøhetta's World Trade Center Memorial and Museum. Also of note: Office for Metropolitan Architecture's East 22nd Street (#2); Herzog & De Meuron's 56 Leonard Street (#3); Neil Denari's HL23 (#4); Walter Sedovic Architects' Eldridge Street Synagogue (#5); Rafael Viñoly's Bronx County Hall of Justice (#6); Polshek Partnership; Newtown Creek Waste Water Treatment Plant (#7); Work Architecture's Public Farm 1 at PS1 (#8); CityRacks Design Competition Winner, Ian Mahaffy & Maarten De Greeve (#9); and the Whitney Museum's exhibition Buckminster Fuller: "Starting with the Universe." Oh shit, we just named them all. [NY Mag]
