Welcome back to New to Market, our look at a new listing, with a reader vote. This week: Manhattan starter apartments in the $300k range. Feedback and nominees to tips@curbed.com, please.
On a treelined-ish block of West 84th Street (between Broadway and Amsterdam), here's a junior one-bedroom-cum-studio that hit the market just after the first of the year priced at $349,000 (per StreetEasy) before getting PriceChopped last week down to $325,000. Nothing over-glamorous about this railroad layout—a sleeploft of sorts seems to be stuffed in the back—but there's a decent amount of space and the co-op only asks for 10 percent down.
