In case you weren't aware, the number of new developments in North Tribeca is officially out of control. As such, it's easy to lose track of a condo here, a hotel there. But one lot we've spied with some interest is the corner of Washington Street and Canal, a first down or two from the Zinc Building, and within shouting distance of No. 22 Renwick. What's the deal with this Tribeca-by-the-skin-of-its-teeth construction site? To Wired New York we go, where 471 Washington Street gets revealed in all its glassy glory. The renderings come from the shop of Ben Hansen Architect, and this far-off corner of Canal?mired in Holland Tunnel hell?just got a lot more interesting. Check out that rooftop hotness!
