Not Quite the Cooper Square Hotel

New, 9 comments

Those wondering about that new walk-up building being hastily assembled at 27 East 7th Street, a few doors down from McSorley's, need to wonder no longer. The Village Inn is "a totally renovated 5 story walk-up building that can comfortably accommodate travelers looking for the fun and history of the neighborhood. The dormitory rooms can sleep 8 to 12 people, and they all have private facilities." Prices range form $40-$50 per night, and it's BYOPL (bring your own pad lock). Oh, it may also be illegal.
