In November, billionaire Len Blavatnik reportedly went into contract signed a letter of intent on the top three floors of The Mark?the Madison Avenue hotel undergoing a hotel-condo renovation?for the ridiculous sum of $150 million. Perhaps not surprisingly, that deal now appears to have fallen through, because the listing for the $60 million five-bedroom penthouse is now on the Corcoran Sunshine website. Unfortunately, there are no interior renderings and the floorplan can't be made any larger. But still, the opulence is there. Breathe it in. Mmm. It smells like, um, opulence. At 9,799 square feet, the penthouse comes out to a $6,123/sf price tag. The monthly maintenance, dear reader, is $35,477. Our bow ties just spun around.
