The condos at Rockwell Place, one of the handful of BAM Cultural District developments that is actually significantly underway, is cutting quite a profile from a distance. The building includes six new stories added "seamlessly" atop the old six-story piano factory with the Cookie's billboard that fronts on Flatbush Avenue and Rockwell Place. More than half the units are in contract. The only glitch is that the development's website lists January 2008 as when "move ins begin for the fortunate 37 residents at Rockwell Place." Might want to tweak that a little.
