Zaha Hadid's Chanel Pavilion, Curbed SF notes, is a modular, portable steel structure designed as an art exhibition space, meant to celebrate the work of Coco Chanel. Mkay. It's no minor occasion when Hadid?who long ago was rumored to be throwing her hat in the ring for a part of the World Trade Center?builds anything, so we'll take this, even if the traveling art gallery will only briefly be making a stop in New York. It's certainly, uh... well, we don't know what it is.
