First, there was some test drilling in January. Then, Purple 53, the bread truck/living quarters, took off for the South. Now comes word, via a tipster, that everyone that parks in the big lot between N. 11 & N. 12 Streets on Bedford has been told the lot is closing as the end of the month. No building permits have been filed yet for the prime piece of property, which is officially 95 Bedford Avenue, but one can assume it's a safe bet that they be appearing before long. The property itself was once home to a paint factory and has been the subject of many stories as to its possible toxicity. It would definitely seem to be closing, as all the signs advertising monthly parking there have been taken down. The site will hold a large residential building six stories tall.
