CurbedWire Sunday Special: Superior Ink Shrapnel!

New, 8 comments

FAR WEST VILLAGE?We have found the weapons of mass destruction, and they are located inside the Robert A.M. Stern-designed condo building going up along the West Side Highway. And all it took was a little wind to activate them! Writes one tipster this morning: "I live in 380 west 12th next to the site of superior ink. Apparently a ton of debris was flying off the building (shattering our lobby). I heard it closed the West Side Highway last night around 10ish. Washington street is still closed, and the police/fdny are still outside." And another: "Last night's wind sent plywood and debris flying from Superior Ink, hitting adjacent buildings, window glass broken, residents told not to stand near windows of 375 w. 12th. Former von Furstenburg site also unsecure."
