Port Authority officials are launching the search for an operator for the observation deck at the Freedom Tower, a big office building currently under construction in Lower Manhattan that has been flying under the radar. The glass-enclosed deck will be on the 102nd floor, about 1,300 feet high, and will open in 2011. Your parents will force you to take them there sometime soon after. [NYP]
