Our last glimpse of 300 East 23rd Street, the site of the former East End Temple that sat vacant for about a decade and generated probably hundreds of rumors, was pulled off a flyer for the retail space in the new building set to rise. Now, we no longer have to assume what the rest of the building will look like. Thar she blows! The glassy 19-story building is the work of Kutnicki Bernstein Architects, who also designed the nearby Gramercy Green Giant (aka 160 East 22nd Street) and Curbed favorite 154 Attorney Street. Maybe the Irish should look into this one?
