Just in case you weren't aware, Pope Benedict XVI is coming to town this week, and while here he'll be staying in the Bowery Hotel. No no, just kidding, he'll be camped out at the Vatican's classy $17 million townhouse (donated, of course) on 72nd Street between Fifth and Madison. You might miss the townhouse while strolling in the 10021, if not for this: "The iron grille doors are marked by two Coats of Arms of the Holy See—the papal insignia of two interlaced keys topped by a crown—carved in gold."
