Meet the Venetian: Brooklyn's Version of Palazzo Chupi?

New, 56 comments

Call it the Palazzo Chupi of Gravesend. Or not. It's called the Venetian and it's been dubbed the "Monster on Avenue P" by the flickr photographer who shot the construction pic in progress. The Venetian comes from Sitt Asset Management (no relation to this well-known Sitt). Per the development website, it's "reminiscent of Renaissance Era Italian architecture" and it offers "inspired Brooklyn lifestyle" and "Manhattan-Style luxury." We don't know about all that, but it does seem to have Manhattanish prices, with condos starting at $1-2M and running up to $3-4M, which is actually still a huge deal compared to our favorite palazzo. The building is off Ocean Avenue on the way to Coney Island.
