The planned 19-story glass luxury rental/retail building at Broadway and 72nd Street has had a troubling history of broken promises and broken buildings. Now, the Times reports, work is actually progressing at the site, and the working title for the building is 200 West. That's because the developers are going with the 200 West 72nd Street address instead of the 2075 Broadway one that is now associated with all those past troubles. And get pumped, Upper West Side, because one retail broker thinks an H&M (pow!), Marshalls (wham!) or Circuit City (kablowie!) may be on its way into the building. Isn't that exciting?!
