The journey of 25 Bond Street?which, if you're confused by all the action on Bond, is the nine-unit BKSK Architects creation with the frenetic limestone façade?has been a long and strange one. And just because there is only one unit left, that does not mean the twists have stopped coming. At first, the building was open only to "discreet inquiries," an invite-only type of approach that was furthered by the minting of 25 Bond's own currency. But now that Unit 2E is the only thing standing between the developers and their 100% sold blowout bash, things are heating up. The 3BR, 3.5BA condo was chopped $500k in February, and now the price on the 3,700sqft "loft" has come down another $450,000. Nearly $1 million in cuts in less than two months? Aggressive, though spending $8 million to live on the second floor still feels a little weird to us. At least the 40 Bond views are good.
