On the Racked: NYC Temporarily Kid Robot-less, Ricky's Tries to Go Green, Paying in Euros, More

New, 1 comment

And now, the latest from Racked, covering shopping and retail from the sidewalks up.

1) Soho: This will be fixed soon, but right now, New York is Kid Robot-less. The toy and streetwear-pushing boutique closed its Pirate Store on Greene Street last week. The new flagship at 118 Prince is on its way.

2) Chelsea: Ricky's tried to go green for something or other, either Earth Day or St. Patrick's day. "Green," per the Racked photo gallery, includes "hemp air fresheners, fabric headbands with a condom-like plastic decoration, and various scents of hand sanitizer."

3) Soho: We knew it would come to this. The owner of Billy's Antiques at 78 E. Houston Street likes it when people pay in Euros.

4) UWS: West Elm is coming. Any guess as to which of our favorite buildings (hint: it includes "CPW") it's going into?
