On the Racked: Old Tower Space's Cheapo Chain, Luxurious Heels, New Feed Bags, iPhone PriceChopper

New, 9 comments

And now, the latest from Racked, covering shopping and retail from the sidewalks up.

1) Central Village: Cheapo chain store Steve & Barry's will be opening in the space on Broadway that used to house Tower Records so that novelty t-shirts and cheap denim shorts are replacing CDs and music.

2) Upper East Side: Racked reports that "ladies who lunch will gather to see the man, the legend, shoe designer Christian Louboutin" today from 3 to 6pm on the fourth floor of Barneys New York on Madison Avenue. There's a photo gallery of his luxurious heels.

3) Bowery: Lauren Bush's reusable Feed bags debuted last night at the Bowery Whole Foods. There is a full Racked photo gallery of the event and bags.

4) Everywhere: The iPhone PriceChopper (iChopper) is coming. Price cuts are 'imminent.'
