The Post polls some big-time brokers on whether the North or South is tops when it comes to luxury, and as usual, Louise Sunshine is the one who has it all figured out: "There are people who have formal homes uptown and weekend homes downtown," says Sunshine. Sunshine knows a couple with a place on Fifth Avenue in the 70s as well as one in TriBeCa. "They go downtown and they put on their jeans and they relax, they lay back, they go to art galleries, they don't have to put on their finest clothing to go out the door," she says.
