The Coney Island saga is the gift that keeps on giving. With amusement park rides going up on developer Joe Sitt's property (30 for now, which will be reduced to 13 for the rest of the summer), Coney Island business types aren't worried that he'll be competing with Astroland and other attractions. They're concerned that it's a smokescreen for building shopping mall-like retailing after he cuts a deal with the city. [NYDN]
