One of Brooklyn's biggest "stalled" projects is no longer stalled. Developer John Catsimatidis has re-started a major project in Downtown Brooklyn-Fort Greene he'd said was on hold because of lack of financing. Ground is being broken on the first phase of the project, which will build 85,000 square feet of market-rate apartments and about 22,000 square feet retail space. Money is coming from "personal funds and market-rate bank financing." [TRD]
