Bloomberg archicritic James Russell has some very kind words today for downtown's new flashy towers, Frank Gehry's Beekman Tower and Ben van Berkel's Five Franklin Place. On Gehry's crinkled steel: "It's a daring esthetic gambit that injects some needed vigor into the skyline." [Bloomberg]
