CurbedWire: One Hanson Clock Tower Has Views, Toren's Got Contracts

New, 86 comments

FORT GREENE?One Hanson had a reception to show off a completed Clock Tower unit last night and a Curbed operative was on hand to take some notes and photos. Our correspondent reports spectacular views in all directions, including Coney Island and the ocean to the south: "I rode the elevator up with some Manhattan brokers who were quizzing tenants headed to their lower floor apartments. They all had great things to say about the building and the neighborhood. And this was in a 100 degree elevator, so the environment was ripe for bitching if there was any to be had." (There have been some early AC problems and residents have been getting free portable units until fixes are made.) The dude playing guitar in the living room photo is not included, even in this $4.75M unit that takes up the entire 29th floor. [CurbedWire Inbox]

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN?Closer to the Manhattan Bridge, Toren, which we last saw via its sales office, is reporting that 50 units have signed contracts in the first 40 days it's been on the market. The 38-story SOM building has 240 units. [CurbedWire Inbox]
