Location: 210 East Broadway
Asking: $1,285,000
There was a hidden plot twist in this week's PriceSpotter, because the fact that this apartment (which appears to be a combo job, as some commenters speculated) is in Seward Park, part of the Lower East Side's Co-Op Village, where prices are routinely low and flip taxes are notoriously high. Many guesses were on the high side for this very stylish pad, and then when the Seward Park cat was let out of the big, many of the guesses went low. Somewhere in there, an anonymous friend got it on the dot, writing, "You don't want the nicest apt in a crappy building and the price reflects that." Speak for yourself, we love lording over the peasantry.
