Floorplan Porn: Playing Photo Hunt With Donald Trump

New, 8 comments

Since its conversion in 2005 to a condominium, the Trump Park Avenue has been a hit with many well-heeled buyers, including several New York Yankees. It's the "classy" Trump building, with a Park Avenue address (#502) and a pre-war look that Trump didn't, uh, Trumpify. But for all its successes, the Trump Park Avenue's duplex penthouse still hasn't sold. The massive spread, on the 31st and 32nd floors, has been priced at a whopping $45 million for a while, but a new Elliman listing popped up for the digs, and a Curbed tipster noticed something: The floorplan has some major differences from the version seen on TPA's website. So, The Donald has decided to do a little remodeling? This actually isn't huge news, because an older listing with Brown Harris Stevens also had the updated floorplan, but we've never looked at them side-by-side before. The biggest change: what was a lower-floor terrace is now?poof!?a master bedroom! The apartment also appears to have dropped a bedroom overall. Check out the befores-and-afters, and point out your favorite retouches in the comments!
