From the comments on the weekend's Open House Open Thread, regarding one Curbed reader's look at several studios under $600k: "One on 37th and Lex was DEAD and the broker looked haggard. The other was in midtown and it was just overpriced. The rest were smartly priced and clean and busy. I looked at the open house sign in sheets and two of them were on sheet 2. Lots of foreigners. Honestly, I am glad I waited to buy. Things are really priced well these days and brokers all but beg you to negotiate." [Open House Open Thread]
