Archinect had some fun with Frank Gehry when they got a look at the starchitect's model for his Serpentine Gallery Pavilion in London, writing, "my theory is that UPS dropped the model in transit and tried to fix it themselves." Well, World Architecture News has some photos of the temporary structure, and it does kind of look like a broken model brought to life. WAN writes that it's inspired by Da Vinci's catapult, but we see it more as a symbol of the messy and fractured state of Gehry's Atlantic Yards. Somebody hug it out with the guy before he goes off the deep end.
