Broker-blogger Andrew Fine spotted this curious façadectomy at 201 East 84th Street: a 19-story co-op, one of those ubiquitous post-war white-brick jobs, suddenly emerging bit-by-bit with a new red-brick look. Fine thinks the building could just be jealous of Robert A.M. Stern's Brompton, rising nearby. Limestone, red brick?is there any material that Bobby A.M. can't turn into the hottest shit in town?
