CurbedWire: Last Licks at Lotta, Hot Karl Hello, and the Work Never Stops in FiDi

HARLEM?And so, the final (perhaps?) word on the Lotta Condominiums. First the West 118th Street building was a Development Du Jour. Then we heard the developers were considering a switch to a hotel, which was pretty much confirmed. Now, a well-placed source says the building will actually be a "youth hostel." File this one under: nondos. Above, the photo gallery of what might've been, one last time. [CurbedWire Inbox]

PARK SLOPE?Given the looong waits people have withstood to move in to their new Fourth Avenue-area condos (cough....Novo Park Slope...cough), this is good news. A release went out this morning saying that people are about to move into the Heritage, the Slope's first Karl Fischer-designed Slope development, on Second Street. The building is 70 percent sold. FIDI?Things appear to be busy at Swig Equities' condo conversion of 25 Broad Street despite, uh, orders to the contrary. Per a tipster: "There is a stop work order at 25 Broad. It looks as if they are carrying on in violation, however." Indeed there is. [CurbedWire Inbox]
