On the Racked: MePa Hugo Boss Someday, Bird Moves in Slope, Pet Fashions, CVS vs. Sephora

And now the latest from Racked, covering shopping and retail from the sidewalks up.

1) MePa: If you were holding your breath for the new Hugo Boss you'd have turned blue and died a long time ago. There are, however, new renderings of the store that will be next to Apple and Moschino and the chance for Rack to note that "Opening Summer 2008" is the new "I'll call you sometime."

2) Park Slope: Bird is done making the big leap from its former Seventh Avenue location to a new one on somewhat more happening Fifth Avenue between Second and Third Streets. The new venue carries things for both men and women.

3) Chelsea: Miss out on Pet Fashion Week? Fear not. Here's a photo gallery full of stuff that will make you go "awwwww" or "ewwwh," depending.

4) Everywhere: CVS is opening a chain of stores called Beauty 360 to compete with Sephora. Seriously. (Insert joke/snide remark here.)
