Burg Catches That Old 70s Feeling for a TV Series

New, 13 comments

This is Keap Street at S. 4 Street east of the BQE in Williamsburg. The old cars? Nah, they're not the standard issue 60s, 70s and 80s things one sees in the Burg that have nothing to do with TV or movies. This scene is part of the shooting of a new TV series called Life on Mars. Blogger Williamsburg Nerd has put up some pics of the shoot, but the shoots have apparently been giving different parts of Brooklyn that good old 70s feeling in recent months, including Dean Street. According to the plot synposis, "a present-day car accident mysteriously sends a detective back to the 1970s." Where he, of course, lands in places like Prospect Heights and the Burg. No truth to the rumor he's buying up real estate so he can return as a billionaire in the 2000s.
