Queens Plaza's fanciest building to date, the 25-story Star Tower now under construction at 28-02 42nd Road, is getting a rare façade reboot. Originally envisioned as a condo tower of brick and glass, the developers have now decided to go all-glass, enabling future buyers to fully take in the majesty of their surroundings from behind a curtain wall. The new look is seen above, with the old rendering coming right after, for all your compare/contrast needs. The old rendering was a nighttime shot, so it's hard to spot much of a difference. Also in the gallery, some new renderings of the building's interior spaces, including the indoor waterfall Jacuzzi room that we've heard so much about. It certainly challenges the Arris Lofts stripper pole in terms of LIC locations we wish had web-streaming security cameras.
