Bloomberg architectural critic James Russell turns his steely-eyed gaze on the plans for the South Street Seaport, and likes most of what he sees, including that trippy tower: "SHoP's tower, though no wallflower, is positively delicate by contrast. The polygonal chain links that veil the glass-walled core in a fishnet exoskeleton are at the edge of trendy. Yet the treatment turns the tower from a box into a beacon."
