The Sports Business Journal wonders why Major League Baseball is bothering with moving to Vornado's planned Harlem Park at 125th Street and Park Avenue if MLB is sinking oodles of cash into its temporary studios in Secaucus. And MLB might be wondering the same thing, considering Vornado has scaled the project back. The developer has sent a lease to the league, and MLB is expected to make a final decision soon. Says an MLB exec: "We’re going to make a decision shortly about whether Harlem is viable for us. Everybody’s great preference would be to be there." [SBJ via Daily Intel]
