The plans for starchitect Norman Foster's U2 Tower, a waterfront skyscraper in Dublin, have been put on hold amidst market turbulence. The building was supposed to have hotel, retail and residential space (including 20% affordable housing), an observation deck, and a "suspended egg shape pod" that would house U2's recording studio. C'mon, Bono, float some of that (PRODUCT) RED cash to the mother country. [WAN]
