"Personal income growth in the New York City region slowed slightly in 2007, but was still higher than in the rest of the nation, according to estimates released today by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis. Led by the finance and insurance sector, personal income grew 7.5% last year, down from 7.9% in 2006. Nationally, the personal income growth rate was 6.2%, down from 6.8% in 2006." Wait until next year, though. Could be ugly. [Crain's] ?EV Grieve
