Curbed PriceSpotter: Gold Coast Gets Shined

New, 21 comments

PriceSpotter is Curbed's asking price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from an apartment listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments. Tomorrow we reveal the answer. And hey, no cheating!

What/Where: 3BR, 4.5BA co-op on Fifth Avenue btwn 82nd/83rd Streets
Square Feet: not listed
Maintenance: $5,886
The Skinny: This eighth-floor co-op is Fifth Avenue through and through, with a slight twist. A recent renovation brought the room total down from 11 to 9, so there's a little more leg room when you're kicking back on the sofa. Not quite as sprawling as those Fifth Ave. full-floors that routinely go for $20M+, but we're not hating on the Met and Central Park views from the living room and two of the three bedrooms. Per the listing, the apartment was injected with "only the finest materials and craftsmanship," and we believe them. The library has 19th Century paneling relocated from the board room of a Manhattan bank. Calling all captains of industry, your new trophy awaits! But how much for this slice of the Gold Coast?
